Danielle A. Levine’s work has been and still is heavily directed by a complex set of realities that damage the lives of many children and families, and most often affect black and brown families more than white families. Danielle and her business partner, William Schmidt set up space (they call it Dida Academy) in Brooklyn, New York to address these complex realities with self-directed education. She is very interested in the legal rights of children and the policies that hinder those rights. Danielle is an eventual mama who is working really hard to create change and opportunity for children today and her own future children.
