We’re back from our much-needed break and ready to rock with you for Season 7 to continue this journey together of healing, exploration, liberation and change. Thank you for being part of our #fofcpod fam! This season we’ll keep our three-part flow, with a few deviations from that structure wherever it feels right.

Here’s what to expect during Season 7:

This season our contribution to the many ways we invest in our liberation from tools of oppression will include continued collaborating with some of the busiest folks in this moving for liberatory learning and living:

And…

  • Next week Marley will do a follow-up episode from Episode 193: Developing a Self-directed Mindset, so be sure to tune in next week. The week after that we’ll release a New Moon episode to bring the ways we care for ourselves inside this intergenerational liberation work
  • More great work from this season’s core team: Juan, Fatima, Dani, Romain, Kris, Marley, and Vicki
  • Raising Free People book’s Spanish version is pretty much done! Watching, learning, and stretching with Ruben, Citlali, Isabel, Abby, Kris, and Miguel has been such a joyful experience. Thank you so much to every one of you who donated dollars, wished us well, or shared the fundraiser, we appreciate you!
  • Instead of sponsors we’ll be doing season spotlights, and the first one is Tebogo Modisane. You’ll hear from her in next week’s episode. In the meantime, listen to Tebogo on Episode 119: Educating the World to Our Children (Soweto)
  • Raising Free People is being recorded as an audiobook and Akilah has been collabing with the energies of sound and voice to make it happen. All the production process will be done by mid-October.
  • October is basically Fare of the Free Man Child month! Anthony “Tony” Galloway Jr. and some of his friends talk about manhood and masculinity in their 20’s and now in their 30’s. If you haven’t heard from Tony check out his latest episode, Episode 224: Deschooling Adulthood with Tony Galloway
  • You’ll hear from Ieishah Clelland-Lange from Episode 63: Deep Work + Dora Life, back in the day in 2018, and Episode 190: Nomad(ing) in Place with Ieishah ‘Nem. She gathered some gems for us while she’s in Aotearoa, also known as New Zealand.
